The Little Things

One of the few benefits of being handicapped is no-one Expects you to do Manual Physical Labor*
Unfortunately I don't extend the same courtesy to myself: I sometimes work myself quite hard

The Front seats in my 93 Mustang were Awful and made driving less than fun
Not only were they a Shade of "Smurf Blue", but they sat too low & didn't have enough back support
They made it seem like you were driving seated in a hole and God Forbid anyone rear ended the car.

I discovered that the seats from the next generation  Mustang would fit my car
and provide both a better driving position and improved back support
There was such a car that had just become available at my local U-Pick Wrecking yard

The Problem (for me) is U-Pick means I would have to remove the seats myself
and transport them to the checkout at the front gate
I had an offer of help later in the week but I was concerned the seats would be "picked" before then

So, today I went by myself to the U-Pick yard to get the seats and whatever else I could find
The Mustang I needed was right at the end of the Row Closest to the Gate
and after only 90 minutes with just a little cussing I was able to remove the seats
and bring them by wheelbarrow to the checkout.

The guy at main gate must have taken pity on me
because he helped me take the seats out to my car
and put them in the back for me.

However the adventure doesn't stop there
I still had to actually install them in the Mustang

Again, Fortunately, the person who had origninally offered to help me was home
and without too much nagging and whining I convinced him to help me put the seats in
this proved to a be very good thing because while the seats did fit the Mustang
they required a bit more "Rube Goldberg" fitment than my own skill level could have provided

It would seem, even in the Little Things, I am being Watched Over
